Greetings! We are pleased to announce that the 2nd Symposium on Combating Emerging Infectious Disease will be held on 16 December 2022. This symposium is co-organized by the Centre for Virology, Vaccinology and Therapeutics, HKU Department of Microbiology, and HKU AIDS institute.
Emerging infectious diseases poses grave risk and burden to our medical service and public health systems. These infectious disease outbreaks cause significant morbidity, mortality, and socioeconomic disruption to the society.
This symposium brings together renowned professors and researchers to showcase the latest impactful research which will contribute to the control of prevalent and emerging infectious diseases.
