The Department of Microbiology hosts weekly Infectious Disease Rounds, attendees include clinical microbiologists and infectious disease physicians across Hong Kong and students of the Postgraduate Diploma in Infectious Diseases (PDipID) programme. The Infectious Disease Rounds focus on updated diagnostic and management strategies for infectious diseases, cutting-edge development in the field of clinical microbiology and infection, and updated information on the epidemiology and clinical characteristics of infectious diseases that are relevant locally and/or globally.
