Infectious Diseases Courses and Postgraduate Diploma Programme
Overview
The Postgraduate Diploma in Infectious Diseases [PDipID] programme and infectious diseases update courses aim to provide understanding of and practical experience in infectious-disease management for physicians, surgeons, clinical microbiologists, other clinicians and healthcare workers who are actively involved in the daily management of patients suffering from infectious diseases. Special emphasis is placed on infections that are major health problems locally or globally. The programme lasts for two years on a part-time basis, and comprises teaching and prescribed work including lecture courses, clinical attachments, a project and a literature review.
